Dynamic Display Options
Vantage and Vanguard can be set-up in 4, 8, 15, 32, 45 or 84-locations.
SpringBoard offers the 4, 8, 15 and 32-location display options.
 |
4-LOCATION
The 4-location overlay provides simple vocabulary for
playing, reading, singing, and basic comments. Large keys make it easy
to access.
|
 |
8-LOCATION
The 8-location phrase-based vocabulary introduces an individual
to the idea of sentence building. A mixture of phrases and single words
provides some flexibility to make new sentences.
|
 |
15-LOCATION
For the client who is able to access 15 keys, this vocabulary
system provides a core of frequently used words along with special Pages
of less frequently used words, which can be strung together to make sentences.
There are also special Pages for Fun, School, and Medical vocabulary.
|
 |
32-LOCATION
The 32-location location vocabulary provides a large starter set of words
for an aided communicator. With many Pages and Activities pre-stored,
an individual who can master this level of vocabulary is well suited to
move on to the more robust vocabulary that is offered in the 45-location
configuration.
|
 |
45-LOCATION
On the 45-location overlay (and on the 8, 15, and 32-location displays)
the top row of the keyboard overlay is always the Activity Row.
The far-left column of keys in the default 45-location keyboard overlay
contains a few tools for your use.
|
 |
84 - LOCATION
This display configuration is available only in the new Vantage and Vanguard PLUS product lines.
