Converting Vocabulary From a DeltaTalker or Liberator

Vocabulary from a Liberator or DeltaTalker can be loaded into the Pathfinder using the Memory Transfer (MTI) program provided with your Pathfinder.

Conversion from TouchTalker/LightTalker to Pathfinder

Vocabulary from a TouchTalker or LightTalker can be converted to the Pathfinder but a series of intermediate steps are needed.
* You must first save the vocabulary (using an MTI) into a computer. Then,
* Load the saved vocabulary into a DeltaTalker.
* Next, the vocabulary in the DeltaTalker must be saved in a computer, again using the MTI process.
* Finally this saved vocabulary can then be loaded into the Pathfinder using the MTI Plus.

Please note that some functions may not transfer correctly and may need to be re-programmed by the user. Songs will not transfer and will need to be re-programmed.

If you are unable to convert your vocabulary, the PRC Technical Support Department will handle the conversion for a $75.00 fee. To use this service, please do the following:

1. Call the Technical Support Department at 800-262-1990 to receive a return authorization. At that time, PRC will provide step-by-step instructions on how to proceed.

2. Provide a Purchase Order, check or credit card authorization for $75.00.

3. PRC will convert the vocabulary program and return to you either on diskette or via an e-mail attachment for loading into the Pathfinder via MTI.

4. If you prefer to forward your TouchTalker or LightTalker to PRC instead of saving the vocabulary yourself, simply contact the Technical Support Department. The fee for this service is $125.00.
